Super unassuming great diner. The food is real food. Not frozen or from a box. The prices are reasonable and service is excellent. I will be back for sure when we visit Coos Bay. Best diner I have been to in a long time!

I wish I could have given this place more stars but it was not deserving of it. This place could use a good scrubbing . The chairs are old office chairs that are filthy and have seen better days. There was stuff just thrown all over the restaurant. A vacuum cleaner was in the middle if dinning room and there were colorful flags on the floor with big sticks. Blankets and curtains were hung up all over blocking parts of the dinning room off. Very hillbilly and strange ! The menu was just a piece of computer paper in a page protector and the way the worded things and typed it out didn't make sense. Our waitress was the dishwasher as well so she kept going back and forth. Which was strange because service lacked. So now let's talk about the food. Found several facial hairs in my gravy . The gravy was bland and salt and pepper didn't help it. Tasted like flour and water with sausage. Home fries were soggy and my Hubby's omelette was gross he said. Just a bunch of hog slop on a plate to be honest. Don't waste your time or money here. PS we both have awful stomach aches now from the food.

Went in for lunch, out of buns for hamburgers, no big deal so I asked to just make it on bread... Paid the same price, got meat and cheese on bread, no veggies... Didnt complain, was when they first opened. These other reviews might be more indicative of their current state. But it left a bad taste in my mouth.

An extra star for the friendly service and the perfectly cooked bacon. I needed a reasonably early breakfast after spending the night in Charleston. On my way into Coos Bay, I came upon the No Dinner Diner. The server greeted me in a friendly manner, and I was struck by the bright decor with artwork on the walls. I had the two egg breakfast with eggs over easy, bacon, a slice of wheat toast and home fries. Everything was done well, although next time I would order my eggs over easy-plus. I did think the potatoes were just okay -- a little greasy and needing a little more, maybe a little onion and some seasoning. Still, this is a good option from breakfast in Coos Bay. Nice folks too.

We are regulars at the No Dinner Diner. If you can get past the location, which seems a bit sketchy from the outside, you'll find a diamond in the rough. A small but very intentional menu has all the breakfast and lunch basics. Several of the menu items have a "build you own" component with a large selection of fresh, often local, ingredients. The atmosphere is clean and friendly, and we've always had excellent service. The "Brad's Sandwich" is the best dang vegetarian breakfast sammie I've ever had: scrambled fresh veggies, eggs, Oregon cheese on toasted sourdough. The pricing is VERY reasonable.
